Baraka Bohemian

This piece sent to me by home grown Aussie label Baraka (sort of a mix between a long sleeved maxi dress and the modern take on an abaya) is simply cut and features patchwork-esque combos of colours, patterned fabric and lace into a jigsaw of sorts on the chest and sleeve cuffs. 

Although it fits well everywhere else, it is a tad too short for me (the joys of being above average height) but found that wearing it over fitted jeans completed the look. The fit itself is great - even my husband remarked that you can't even tell I'm pregnant when wearing it. It just seems to nicely skim over everything which is surprising because it is made out of jersey and in my mind jersey is the crappest material ever that is akin to my worst clothing enemy but this jersey is obviously high quality and doesn't cling to every bump and curve on my body like the cheap jersey you get in most stores. Praise the Lord.

It also features a hidden zipper down the middle of the bust so it may just work out as a nursing top for me once this baby is surgically removed from my body. Hooray!

I was sent another piece from Baraka's latest line that I will show you guys soon - a silk blouse wrap in a gorgeous hue of blue that is perfection for blue lovers everywhere. Seriously, the colour had me in awe. More on that later though...
