Chocolate Mousse Cups

I've never been a chocolate mousse fan. Who would want to order a gluggy, viscous mess when you can order something as decadent as mud cake if you are really going to jump on board the chocolate express? I've never made it before but lacking flour the other night (and therefore unable to make a proper cake for dessert) I ended up venturing down the mousse side of life and making what you see below. It was dead easy, super quick and tasted delicious. Bonus points for no baking!

I served mine in some pretty little cup & saucer sets as I couldn't be bothered searching for my dessert glasses amongst the piles of pots and pans in my cupboards. They looked a lot cuter like this anyway.

The recipe I used was this Donna Hay one. I didn't have raspberries so instead I topped mine off with grated chocolate pieces which worked out better for me because I'm not generally into the whole choc/fruit mix thing.

Got kids? Make it extra cute by serving your children in a kid's tea party set. Polka dot for my princess... of course.

Getting a two year old to stand still whilst holding a mini chic mousse cup was near impossible. Way too much food excitement going on behind the scenes!
